Look, I'll never tell anyone they are wrong about liking or not liking certain shows. HOWEVER, 20 1977 shows better than Cornell? With Dick no longer with us someone needs to justify that. I think it's the best of all time. Some feel overrated and that's cool. But no way can there be 20 shows in all of the dead's history, let alone 77 better than cornell. My opinion only.

Just out of curiosity, what besides the Scarlet>Fire" and "Morning Dew" (presumably) is it you like best/find most impressive about the Cornell show? I totally respect the widely held opinion that this show is at or near the pinnacle; I'm just wondering as to what the major appeal is. For me, Cornell isn't even the best show from that month, much less 1977 or all-time.

I also think Jerrys playing on Brown Eyed is the best he ever did on that song
